First: make it safe, keep water out
Storm damage escalates quickly. One lifted ridge tile lets in wind-driven rain that soaks felt, battens and ceilings within hours; a slipped slate over a bedroom becomes a plaster and electrics problem by morning. Our emergency work starts with the essentials: secure anything loose, weatherproof the opening, and protect the inside of your home. Then we assess the full extent — including the hidden damage storms leave behind, like split membrane, displaced fixings and cracked tiles that haven't fallen yet.
If your roof is leaking right now: move valuables away from the drip, catch water in containers, and if water is near lights or electrics, switch off the affected circuit. Don't climb on the roof yourself — wet tiles are treacherous. Then call us.
Repairs that stay repaired
Once you're watertight we complete the lasting fix: replacement tiles and slates matched to your roof, ridge and verge repairs (upgraded to dry-fix where mortar has failed), flashing and chimney repairs, guttering put back where the wind removed it, and flat roof repairs or renewal where felt has split. Every repair is finished to blend with the existing roof — no odd tiles shouting from the street.
Claiming on insurance? We'll photograph and document the damage and provide the written detail insurers ask for, so the paperwork is as painless as the repair.
